ADVENTURERS IN CONSCIOUSNESS SCHEDULE
2005-2006
For the past fifteen years, I’ve conducted an 8-month intensive group experience designed to provide a sufficient time period for participants to deepen into an understanding of themselves, including their belief systems, emotional patterns, and spiritual understandings and be able to open their awareness and experience a wider experience of themselves.
As we venture through our whole being in the context of Unconditional Love, personal/emotional healing occurs naturally and in its own way. Opening to the Mystery of our being by reclaiming all of our aspects, especially those that we’ve judged as inadequate and unacceptable, creates the opportunity for us to live our lives fully and radiantly without defense or fear of who we are. We utilize the breath, movement, yoga, guided processes, meditation, art, dream, and energy work, as well as development of the intuition.
We explore such themes as love, acceptance, self judgment, trust, the inner polarities, the processes of personal development, inadequacy, power and powerlessness, one’s place in the world, coming to terms with the family/clan pattern as it lives through you, acceptance and forgiveness, and the soul and spiritual dimensions of your life.
ADVENTURERS IN CONSCIOUSNESS I is the introductory group, meeting once a week for approximately 8 months and attending 3 Friday night/Saturday Intensives during this period. A commitment is a commitment to participate during the entire process.
ADVENTURERS IN CONSCIOUSNESS II WEEKEND INTENSIVES- After completing Adventurers I, a person may elect to continue to participate in Adventurers II Weekend Intensives that are scheduled approximately every two months. There is no long-term commitment. You sign up on a session-by-session basis.
ADVENTURERS IN CONSCIOUSNESS II WEEKDAY- This year I am adding an Adventurers II every other Thursday night group for those who wish to continue and deepen the work of the Heart Center and the self-understanding processes begun in the Adventurers I. We will follow the direction of the group’s needs, and explore archetypes within the psyche and deepening into reclaiming our shadow parts to experience wholeness. This is a four-month commitment that is renewable.
ADVENTURERS IN CONSCIOUSNESS III- For those who have participated in the Adventurers I and II, I have added Adventurers III, which meets every other Thursday night. Each of the 8-month sessions of Adventurers III is focused around a different direction of inquiry and experiential process. The focus for 2005-2006 is ‘Living and Dying.’ We will explore movement into midlife, elderhood, and preparation for dying, as well as being with those in our families who are elderly and in a dying process.
I am asking that participants in Adventurers III feel comfortable with the material from Adventurers I and II: the heart center, non judgmental observation, the multidimensional self, our pattern, shadow material, use of intuition to explore the inner world, and developed a comfort with the experience of our personal energy. Adventurers III will continue the work of the earlier groups in addition to the new material. I am asking Adventurers II participants to make more of a commitment in terms of reading, journaling, meditation, and personal exploration.
ADVENTURERS IN CONSCIOUSNESS I meets on Tuesday evenings from late September or Early October through May or early June. Once the group forms, we will determine the dates of the Weekend Intensives. The 2005 start date will be approximately October 4.
During 2005-2006, I am making available an afternoon group if there is enough interest.
This group would meet either Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon.
Cost is $65 per session, with a total of approximately 31 sessions, making a total of approximately $2015. Price includes materials.
ADVENTURERS IN CONSCIOUSNESS II WEEKDAY, meets every other Thursday night for anyone who has ever taken Adventurers I and wishes to continue the exploration of the Heart Center. The 2005 start date will be early October. There is a renewable 4-month commitment. Cost is $65 per session and a total of 7 or 8 sessions for a total of $455 or $520. Price includes materials.
ADVENTURERS IN CONSCIOUSNESS II WEEKEND INTENSIVE meets approximately every 2 months for anyone who has ever completed Adventurers I. You do not have to participate in the Thursday night group to do the Weekends, nor do you have to participate in the Weekend Intensive to do the Weekday Group. Cost per weekend is $210. Price includes materials.
ADVENTURERS IN CONSCIOUSNESS III meets every other Thursday night and is for people who are comfortable with the prior material. This group requires a commitment for the year’s work as well as Adventurers I and II or other comparable preparation. Start date will be early October. Cost is $75 per session with a total of approximately 18-20 sessions, for a total of no more than $1500. Price includes materials.

These groups are not appropriate for those in psychological crisis at this time.
